New Twitter FB Question!
Superstitions!
So we all know what a superstition is!! Whether it is A black cat crossing your path.. Ladder, broken mirror... 4 leaf clover, rabbits foot....
Friday the 13th...
Red sky at night, sailors' delight; red sky at morning, sailors take warning:
"Knock on wood.."
Sneezing: Don't let the soul escape. The origins of the German invocation, Gesundheit!, and the automatic English response, Bless you!
My Question is...
What is your superstition that you do..
Or cant help but pay attention too?
Silly as they maybe Superstitions Old wives tales they are around; ..
Maybe you were always told one as a child or person..

@CraneB: I knock on wood.
Whenever I go around a pole or something with a friend and they go theother way, I double back and go that way. Like they go to the left and I went to the right, I have to go back and go left.
I try to keep my younger cousins away from mirrors.
Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck! (unless it's tails up)
I'm not very fond of the number 4.
However, I consider the number 13 my lucky number.
And I don't think Friday the 13th is unlucky.

@AQuestioningMind: I knock on wood, and say bless you when someone sneezes. I am a littlemore wary of picking up a penny tails up, even though tails is myfavorite side. I don't care about black cats, or walking under laddersthough. Did you know that in Europe, the white cat is the unlucky one
************************************************************************************************************************
FullMoonWitch @Powerfulreading I always knock on wood or my noggin
*******************************************************************************************************************
@Waschzub... Dont whish "Happy Birthday" before the actual event happend, it brings bad luck
*********************************************************************************************************
@Flamezaber: the only superstition Ive ever been taught was the dropped saltone....you know, bad luck will come if you dont throw some over your shoulder? It sounds ridiculous, but its something I grew up with so Icant shake the habit...

@The UK Goddess *Accalia*: I always go with the Magpies.
If you see one Magpie, then you're going to have bad luck. If you see two or more, you're going to have good luck.
Oh, and Magpies are birds if you didn't know. My mom got me into this one, and I still go through with it.

@TiaMat I find dropping an ice cube a superstition and I don't know why. I alsobelieve the split pole and for sure don't walk under a ladder.
